We utilize modern day technology and the most up-to-date clinical practices. Our goal is to provide this service at an accessible price, all while treating our clients with compassion and respect.

True U Clinic is 100% virtual. We follow the same standards of care and procedures as traditional brick-and-mortar clinics but we operate entirely online. This means we save costs on real estate and pass those savings on to you!

Julie is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing since 2012 following her graduation from Columbia University’s highly ranked NP program. She’s a lifelong caretaker with an extensive background in health care ranging from work in emergency services, urgent care, college health and sexual/reproductive health. During her time in college health, Julie realized just how poor and limited gender-affirming care was which led her to helping to launch and lead True U. She is dedicated and passionate about providing competent, compassionate gender-affirming care and increasing access to care through technology and innovation, and considers her work at True U to be the most rewarding of her career. She truly loves the meaningful time she gets to spend with her clients every single day and feels privileged to be serving hundreds of clients across the country. Andrea has spent most of her professional career teaching preschool and kindergarten in a Montessori school setting in New York City. Andrea joined True U Clinic in 2020 after moving to Colorado. Andrea enjoys working for a company that is committed to providing compassionate, inclusive, and thoughtful care. She loves getting to interact on a daily basis with all of the dynamic clients and dedicated providers. Nat is a non-binary family nurse practitioner who received their Master of Science in Nursing and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY. They bring healthcare experience from a variety of settings, including hospital-based acute care, oncology, and office-based primary care. Nat has been providing hormone therapy to the LGBTQIA2S+ community since 2019 and continues to pursue educational opportunities that keep them up to date on the newest research and treatments.

Nat strives to make all patients feel seen, heard, and validated. Their goal is to partner with each person and come up with an individualized treatment plan to achieve their embodiment goals.

Nat is passionate about providing healthcare that is body-positive/HAES, trauma- informed, and person-centered. When not working, Nat enjoys spending time with their wife Meagan and butt-head rescue Pitbull named Elden. Since 1996, when she first became a nurse, she has been caring for people living with HIV and AIDS. She is passionate about harm reduction; sexual health; working to eliminate health inequities and stigma especially in underserved populations; and providing compassionate gender-affirming care.
