Visits with True U Clinic are done from the convenience of your home over our safe, secure, HIPAA-compliant video-conferencing portal.

The visit is treated like any other doctor appointment, but virtually!

Blood work can be done from your house or locally at a lab close to you. Once we start hormone therapy, we can have the medications shipped directly from the pharmacy to your home.

The entire process can be completed from the privacy of your home!

Nat Metz, FNP (they/them)

Nat is a non-binary family nurse practitioner who received their Master of Science in Nursing and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY. They bring healthcare experience from a variety of settings, including hospital-based acute care, oncology, and office-based primary care. Nat has been providing hormone therapy to the LGBTQIA2S+ community since 2019 and continues to pursue educational opportunities that keep them up to date on the newest research and treatments.

Nat strives to make all patients feel seen, heard, and validated. Their goal is to partner with each person and come up with an individualized treatment plan to achieve their embodiment goals.

Nat is passionate about providing healthcare that is body-positive/HAES, trauma- informed, and person-centered. When not working, Nat enjoys spending time with their wife Meagan and butt-head rescue Pitbull named Elden. They also enjoy gardening, watching NFL football (go Cardinals!), playing fantasy football, and making fermented foods. They look forward to meeting you soon!

Melissa Prince lives and works in Scottsdale, Arizona as an endocrine Nurse Practitioner. Originally she is from Massachusetts, and completed her undergraduate degree at Skidmore College in upstate New York and graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. During her free time she travels, hikes and goes to museums with her family and enjoys her hobby of painting, embroidery and quilting. Melissa enjoys working for companies that foster an inclusive, safe environment for LGBTQI people as she believes everyone deserves high quality medical care. Julie has been working as a family nurse practitioner since 2012 after graduating from Columbia University. She has a background in urgent care, emergency services, college health and sexual/reproductive health care. Julie is enthusiastic about providing competent, compassionate gender-affirming care and increasing access to care through technology and innovation. She is currently providing care in Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Montana and New Mexico.

Lisa Scotti, FNP, MSN, MPH (she, her, hers)

Lisa has been working as a family nurse practitioner in primary care and public health since 2013 after graduating from University of Maryland School of Nursing. Since 1996, when she first became a nurse, she has been caring for people living with HIV and AIDS. She is passionate about harm reduction; sexual health; working to eliminate health inequities and stigma especially in underserved populations; and providing compassionate gender-affirming care. Lisa is a fan of most sports, and she herself is an enthusiastic cyclist and roller skater. Lisa is currently providing care in Colorado and Maryland.
